Constriq develops software for the automated digitization of existing buildings. It enables designers, construction project teams, and technical experts to convert scans of real buildings into 3D digital models faster, more affordably, and with far less manual labor. The resulting models can then be used for design, renovations, or building management. The main product is Cloud2BIM-AI, which automatically generates a digital model in IFC format from a point cloud obtained by scanning a building. This allows the model to be used in various programs for design and management and to work with it within BIM—a system for digital construction information management. With minimal user input, Cloud2BIM-AI automates work that specialists currently carry out manually in CAD programs, a task that can take days or even weeks. Constriq further develops the digital model for long-term monitoring of a building's technical condition. It adds its own autonomous IoT units, which can measure selected parameters directly in the building and transmit them in real time into the digital model. In the future, this data may also serve as an extension for facility management tools. Thus, digitization is not just a one-off event but a living source of data about the true technical state of the building. Constriq was founded as a spin-off from the CTU Faculty of Civil Engineering and builds on the research of the European RECONMATIC project and its open-source output Cloud2BIM.
